Brett Favre will become a Tampa Bay Buc by the end of today - August 8th. The Tampa Bay Tribune is reporting that the Bucs are striking a deal to obtain Brett Favre. This is a good trade for the Packers and for the Bucs because Brett fits Headcoach Gruden's style of play and demeanor. Brett should be happy to play in Tampa!
Headcoach Mike McCarthy states during the press conference that "Brett Favre is not in the proper mindset to be a Packer." (5:30 CST) Packers will set up a deal to trade Favre to the Tampa Bay Bucs as soon as possible. Brett continues to be very emotional about his current situation. Declared nonfootball injury list is where Brett Favre is placed on the Packers roster. Favre wants to play against the Packers this year and looks to land a deal soon.
